Albert Pier Housing

The construction of 153 housing units on land adjacent to the Albert Pier began in October 2000 to provide quality housing on a prime Waterfront site at realistic prices.

The design of the buildings was selected following a local architectural competition which was won by local architects, Nigel Biggar & Partners.  The construction was undertaken as a joint venture by local firm Camerons who teamed up with a major French construction firm Spie Batignolles.

The development comprised 75 units for social rent, 78 for sale to first time buyers.

Underground car parking provides safe pedestrian courtyard areas for the residents.

The Jersey Homes Trust manage the rental apartments and the States of Jersey Housing Committee nominated purchasers for the ‘first time buyers’ apartments.
